PRODUCTION DESIGNThe Governors Awards is an untelevised annual award ceremony hosted by the Academy (AMPAS). The event has a Portrait Studio activation to generate social content to be shared the night of the event.
For the 2019 Governors Awards, we were able to bring my concept of a ‘Midnight Garden’ to life. I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of production and was fortunate to creatively collaborate with our talented photographer, set designer, and florist.
The portraits received over 10M+ impressions across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Oscars.org. Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer, Kaitlyn Dever and various other talent and respective film accounts reposted the portraits.

In my mind, I had envisioned a midnight garden-inspired theme with a jewel-toned, deeper color palette for the florals to pair with our guests’ formal attire.
